Our nonprofit venture, Heritage Growers, is among a handful of nationwide providers of native seeds, hand-selecting, growing, amplifying, and providing seeds that align with geography at restoration sites around the state.
Restoration plans often require the collection of native plant seeds within roughly 100 miles of the site where they are to be planted. As a result, multiple growing seasons are needed to accumulate enough seeds.
