More than two dozen Googlers left their Sunnyvale offices and traveled to our Hidden Valley Ranch property to plant native grasses, plants, and shrubs atop one of the property’s bunny mounds. While they were learning how River Partners is working toward restoring native habitat in one of California’s largest regions of restored floodplains, this was also a celebration of our new partnership with Google.
[Google’s] collaboration with River Partners aims to restore part of the Tuolumne River’s connection to its natural floodplain. Together, we secured riverside farmland that was inundated with floodwaters for months in 2023 which decimated the crops being grown on the property.
