In one of the most important stretches of the Sacramento River for all four runs of Chinook salmon, River Partners is restoring a pair of sites between Redding and Red Bluff that spans two Northern California counties. Battle Creek Ranch and Rancho Breisgau sit along a critical ecological corridor, and our restoration efforts here will improve water quality, fish habitat, and habitat connectivity for a host of wildlife species. While restoration is happening at Battle Creek Ranch, outdoor recreation enthusiasts are encouraged to focus their energy on the beauty of Rancho Breisgau.
