Water has been the subject of fierce battles since California’s early days, and even more so as we enter another record-breaking drought year. But, there is one solution that might unite all sides, and it’s not too good to be true. As the Modesto Bee’s Editorial Board writes, “Now is the time to strongly call for equity in advancing a worthy goal sought by farmers, municipalities, fisherpeople, and environmentalists alike: floodplains.” River Partners couldn’t agree more.
