Hidden Valley Ranch: Dairy Facility Removal

River Partners is seeking bids from qualified contractors to complete a demolition and cleanup project of the Hidden Valley Dairy facility located at 8601 Dos Rios Lane, Modesto, CA. This includes two primary components, Facility Demolition and Stockpiled Concrete Disposal, with additional details provided below. Prospective bidders are welcome to provide a bid response focused on one or both work components.

The Hidden Valley Ranch site contains a former dairy cow storage/feedlot facility and associated outbuildings, ~4.5 acres of polebarns and stalls, 8 acres of paddocks with perimeter metal fencing, and miscellaneous debris. Use of the facility was discontinued on July 5, 2026. The goal of the project is to complete disassembly, demolition, and offhaul for disposal/recycling of: all identified structures down to slab/grade; fencing and stalls; debris/trash; removal of paving/slab/curbs under Polebarn 1; and removal or onsite crushing of mixed concrete debris presently stockpiled onsite and generated in the course of the demolition project.

Hidden Valley Ranch: Dairy Lagoon Decommissioning and Manure Removal

River Partners is seeking bids from qualified contractors to complete the Hidden Valley Dairy lagoons decommissioning project located at 8601 Dos Rios Lane, Modesto, CA. This includes two primary components, Dairy Lagoon Closure and Dairy Facility Manure Removal, with additional details provided below.

The Hidden Valley Ranch site contains two unlined dairy manure wastewater settling lagoons (~5.75 acres and ~1.5 acres), and ~1 acre of unlined secondary wastewater settling area with surficial manure, with use discontinued on July 5, 2026. The site also contains ~8 acres of former dairy paddocks and paddock drainage areas with surficial manure, and ~ 4.3 acres of former dairy polebarns with residual manure among the stalls. River Partners is seeking bids from qualified contractors to (1) remove all manure from the identified work areas down to native soils, (2) offhaul the excavated lagoon material to a nearby property (~8937 Grayson Road the “Island Dairy Ranch” property, ~2.3 road miles from work site) owned by River Partners to stockpile at a designated location for future agricultural field application, and (3) decommission the lagoon storage/settling areas.
