Long-term management recommendations

We anticipate that with the successful woody and understory plant species establishment onsite, any future replanting will be unnecessary. However, while River Partners has worked aggressively to control invasive weeds onsite, weeds remain and pose a threat to areas of the restoration planting. We encourage future managers to continue to monitor and control invasive non-native plant species such as yellow starthistle, giant reed, and perennial pepperweed, particularly within the open areas onsite.
